This year marks the V Centenary<\/strong> of the pilgrimage that took Ignatius of Loyola from his birthplace to Manresa, on his way to Jerusalem<\/strong>, establishing the Ignatian Way. Pope Francis<\/strong> reminds us of this event by proclaiming it a Jubilee Year<\/strong> of the Ignatian Way.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Portique\n\t\tLoyola\n\t

The Jubilee Year of the Ignatian Way offers us an excellent opportunity to follow it and get to know the places that enrich it. And at its starting point, Tierra Ignaciana<\/strong>, made up of the region of Urola Erdia<\/strong> and the neighbouring regions of Urola Garaia<\/strong> and Debagoiena<\/strong>, in the interior of the province of Gipuzkoa, an important destination for cultural and religious tourism, based on the figure of Saint Ignatius of Loyola.<\/p>\n

An enormous historical, artistic, cultural and religious heritage<\/strong> from the 16th century, the Basque Golden Age, awaits us here. The Route of the Three Temples<\/strong> is the backbone of Tierra Ignaciana, a 45 km itinerary linking the Sanctuary of Loyola<\/strong> with the Hermitage of La Antigua<\/strong> and the latter with the Sanctuary of Ar\u00e1nzazu<\/strong>.
