In the two cross-country ski resorts &#8211; <strong>Irati and Belagua<\/strong> &#8211; we are already waiting for you&#8230;<\/p>\n\t<p>The <strong>crunch of untouched snow<\/strong> is one of the most special sounds of winter. That unique moment when you get out of the car and the mountains, like giants covered in sugar, welcome you with their radiant landscape.<\/p>\n<p>In the <strong>Aralar<\/strong> mountains, in the <strong>Urbasa<\/strong> and <strong>Andia<\/strong> mountains and in <strong>Orreaga\/Roncesvalles<\/strong> and in the Pyrenean valleys of <strong>Aezkoa<\/strong>, <strong>Salazar<\/strong> and <strong>Roncal<\/strong>, it is a rare year when there is not a good snowfall.<\/p>\n<p>And as the weather is so unpredictable, you have to pay attention because sometimes the altitude drops and you may wake up in your rural accommodation in the <strong>Baztan<\/strong> or <strong>Ultzama<\/strong> Valley covered in a blanket of white.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ssl-host:8890\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/wwww.jpg\" alt=\"Belagua\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"wwww\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>In the two cross-country ski resorts in Navarre you will enjoy the peace and quiet of a natural environment that is hard to forget.<\/p>\n\t<p>Navarre has two resorts that specialise in <strong>cross-country skiing<\/strong>. A modality that allows you to exercise while enjoying the beauty of the snow-covered <strong>Navarrese Pyrenees<\/strong> in peace and quiet.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tIrati-Abodi Mountain Centre\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Located in the <strong>Salazar Valley<\/strong>, in the heart of the Irati Forest at an altitude of 1,300 metres, the natural spectacle is guaranteed. It has <strong>three easy slopes<\/strong> with a total length of <strong>22 kilometres<\/strong> for cross-country skiing and a 16-kilometre slope for those with more experience. It also offers an <strong>information service<\/strong> on routes, snow equipment hire, a caf\u00e9-bar-restaurant and car park.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tNordic skiing in Larra-Belagua\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Located in the easternmost part of the Navarre Pyrenees, the resort is divided into two sectors:<\/p>\n<p><strong>El Ferial<\/strong>: where you will find the main building with first aid station, ski school, equipment hire, bar, restaurant, shop, lockers, spa area. It has <strong>16 km<\/strong> of cross-country ski trails and snowshoe trails.\u00a0<strong>La Contienda<\/strong>: where you will find a small building with a cafeteria, first-aid post and <strong>5
