Their follower figures are staggering: 17.4 million on TikTok<\/strong>, 1.2 million on Instagram and 1.8 million on YouTube<\/strong> show that the Twin Melody are a hit with the youngest members of the house. From their origins in Ordizia<\/strong> to their participation in “El Hormiguero”<\/strong>, the most popular twins of the moment review their career for BasqueMagazine<\/strong> and recommend their favourite spot in the Basque Country.<\/p>\n\t

Students, singers, actresses, dancers and youtubers… for those who don’t know you yet, how would you define yourselves?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We would define ourselves as artists since that includes everything we do: music, videos and photos on social networks, dancing, actresses, etc.<\/p>\n

What were your beginnings like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We would say that we started at the music school in Ordizia at the age of 8 learning music theory, then at the age of 11 Paula piano and Aitana txistu and at the age of 14 singing. As far as social networks are concerned, we started uploading videos to YouTube at the age of 15, singing covers of well-known songs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"\u24b8Twin\n\t\t\u24b8Twin Melody\n\t

How do two young women from Ordizia reach millions of people all over the world?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The truth is that we are very grateful to all the people who support us and follow us day by day, thank God. We believe that it is very important to do what you like, perseverance, good lighting, always trying to innovate, being positive and not giving up.<\/p>\n

What do you value most about your participation in “El Hormiguero”?<\/strong><\/p>\n

What we value most is the fact that they have trusted us to do the section and how well they treat us. We are very happy and we have a great time.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"\u24b8Twin\n\t\t\u24b8Twin Melody\n\t

For those who arrive and don’t know Euskadi… What would you recommend them to do first?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first thing we would recommend them to do would be to visit San Sebastian, as we think it is beautiful, and to go to Monte Igeldo, as the views are incredible.<\/p>\n

Recommend a place to visit…<\/strong><\/p>\n

We would recommend visiting Igeldo and La Concha beach.<\/p>\n

Of the trips you have made, which have impressed you the most and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Of the trips we have made, the one that has impressed us the most has been Argentina, as the food was really good and the people were very friendly.<\/p>\n
