Finally, he describes the influence that <strong>women<\/strong> exerted on Elcano throughout his life.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ssl-host:8890\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/RP_Libro_LaGetariadeElcano-.jpg\" alt=\"Presentaci\u00f3n del libro.\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"RP_Libro_LaGetariadeElcano-\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>It has been presented at the Basque Maritime Museum.\u00a0<strong>Carlos Olaetxea<\/strong>, Head of the Gordailua and Museums Service of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, together with <strong>Xabier Alberdi and Ion Irurzun<\/strong>, director of the Basque Maritime Museum and director of <strong><em>Elkano 500 Fundazioa<\/em><\/strong>, and the author of the work <strong>Daniel Zulaika<\/strong> took part in the press conference. Daniel Zulaika, in addition to being a member of the Elkano 500 Fundazioa Advisory Committee, has published several books and articles on Juan Sebasti\u00e1n Elcano and the <strong>first round the world<\/strong> voyage.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ssl-host:8890\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/RP_Libro_LaGetariadeElcano3.jpg\" alt=\"Presentaci\u00f3n a los medios.\" itemprop=\"image\" title=\"RP_Libro_LaGetariadeElcano3\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p>During the presentation, the director of the <strong>Basque Maritime Museum<\/strong> emphasised the close ties between the Museum and Daniel Zulaika, who has always considered the Museum to be a leading reference point for the maritime history and <strong>heritage of the Basque Country<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The author has made the publication available to the public, free of charge, on the <a href=\"https:\/\/itsasmuseoa.eus\/en\/\">Euskal Itsas Museoa<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/elkanofundazioa.eus\/eu\/recursos\/liburua-la-getaria-de-elkano\/\">Elkano 500 Fundazioa<\/a> websites. It has also been distributed in different public libraries in the Basque Country and in bookshops in Donostia and Bilbao.
