It is a Renaissance palace to which the old Vitoria-Gasteiz <strong>Water Deposit<\/strong>, built in 1885, is attached underground.<\/p>\n<p>After several refurbishments, both the main building and the old water tank are now <strong>major landmarks<\/strong>: the palace has become a cultural centre, a space for the production, exhibition and dissemination of contemporary art and thought; and the water tank has become a special space for hosting exhibitions.<\/p>\n<p>On the <a
