The selected works also include a tapestry made between 1989 and 1991 by Josep Royo from a lithograph of the Catalan artist&#8217;s book Le l\u00e9zard aux plumes d&#8217;or.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Being here with Mir\u00f3 is fantastic because of the opportunity to celebrate his visit at Chillida&#8217;s house, with the impatience that comes from receiving someone who is eagerly awaited<\/em>&#8220;, says <strong>Estela Solana<\/strong>, head of exhibitions at Chillida Leku. &#8220;<em>The pieces that make up &#8216;Mir\u00f3 en Zabalaga&#8217; transmit a simple but also physical idea, it is the conjunction of a great work by Chillida with the work of Mir\u00f3<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/basquemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Vista-de-sala-Alex-Abril-64.jpg\" alt=\"Room view\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"555\" width=\"970\" title=\"Vista-de-sala-Alex-Abril-64\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\tRoom view\n\t<p>The sculptures, drawings and engravings that make up the exhibition cover the artist&#8217;s usual themes and with them <strong>colour enters for the first time<\/strong> in an intense way into the farmhouse, a building renovated by the sculptor to house his work. The works are related to each other and are grouped by rooms with the idea of forming a <strong>composition<\/strong> in themselves.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Bringing Mir\u00f3&#8217;s corpus together in the museum with works by Eduardo Chillida creates an exceptional context to give rise to an enriching dialogue between the two artists, an opportunity to approach both from different points of view<\/em>&#8220;, emphasises <strong>Mireia Massagu\u00e9<\/strong>, director of Chillida Leku, who stresses that the &#8220;<em>works are related to each other but do not touch, they do not share
