From <strong>March 13 to 16<\/strong> in San Sebasti\u00e1n.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/basquemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/dFERIA_Diptych_Franck_Gaby.jpg\" alt=\"dFERIA_Diptych_Franck_Gaby(c)JesseWillems3\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"1085\" width=\"970\" title=\"dFERIA_Diptych_Franck_Gaby(\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t<p><strong>Jokin Oregi, #MrSortwo<\/strong>, is the creator of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.donostiakultura.eus\/imgs\/agenda\/agenda-cultural\/festivales\/dFERIA\/dFERIA_2023_Kartela_-_Cartel_A3.pdf\">poster for the next edition<\/a>, where scenography and the essence of theater are mixed with abstraction and figuration, &#8220;representing a theater curtain with two brush strokes and playing with the spaces that they they create to generate a landscape. The woman in the back symbolizes the actress\/actor or <strong>people on the other side of the curtain<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tXXIX edition\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>As for the theme of the <strong>XXIX dFERIA<\/strong>, theater is recognized for its role as a tool for <strong>social transformation and a trainer of the critical spirit<\/strong>. In this case, dFERIA will address the growing misinformation in society through the leitmotiv FAKE. Both <strong>hoaxes, lies, falsehoods<\/strong>, fallacies, deceit, falsifications, slander and misrepresentations that can cause conditions such as lack of judgment, mental disorientation and <strong>misinformation<\/strong> will be dealt with. Something very current given the exponential dissemination of any information due to the <strong>massive use of new technologies<\/strong> (blockchain&#8230;) and due to the great capacity for influence and manipulation of individuals in a society with a diminishing critical spirit.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tPre show\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>As in previous editions, dFERIA has scheduled a show the weekend before the festival. Thus, on <strong>March 11 and 12, the Belgian company Peeping Town will present <em>Diptich: The missing room and The lost room<\/em><\/strong> at the Victoria Eugenia Theatre.
