The development of the first phase has reiterated the complexity of the project, which requires the involvement of various areas of knowledge so that each from their perspective, their knowledge and their practice can contribute to and enrich the project”. Bilbao Ibarra added that “The Forest of Oma is now facing its second and final phase of painting. The multidisciplinary team is once again starting to work on the ground to continue the painting process and will do so over the next few months until the work is completed”.

In the first phase, carried out during the summer period of 2022, 14 artistic sets were completed as planned, with a total of 454 trees painted. The second phase of the transfer begins in March and will continue until the end of the summer with the painting of another 400 trees and 19 artistic groups, until the 33 artistic groups that make up the Oma Forest are completed.

Visit by reservation only

The Forest of Oma will remain closed to the public until its opening in October with The Forest of Oma completed.
