Summer<\/strong> is here and the Euskal Itsas Museoa offers numerous visits for adults and families to discover the museum’s temporary exhibitions<\/strong> and the port of Donostia – San Sebastian<\/strong>. Families will be able to discover the city’s port thanks to the clue game La Jarana.<\/p>\r\n On the one hand, visitors will be able to discover the temporary exhibition Moilak. Traditionally Innovative<\/em><\/strong>, an exhibition that illustrates the important role played by Basque ports over the last two centuries. Visits to the exhibition will be free of charge or through a guided tour<\/strong> that can be booked on request at a cost of \u20ac2.5 per person. In addition, families can visit the exhibition independently with the help of a free educational leaflet aimed at children aged between 6 and 12, which is available at the Museum’s reception during opening hours<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n On the other hand, the Museum, the Kofradia Itsas Etxea, and Motoras de la Isla will continue to offer the unique gastronomic and cultural experience “Vive el puerto donostiarra”<\/em><\/strong>. Those attending will discover the history of the port from the museum’s mediation team, they will have the opportunity to get on board the Isturiz I inshore boat and to taste seasonal products at the Kofradia Itsas-Etxea. The visits will be offered on 8 and 22 July<\/strong> and 12 and 26 August<\/strong> at 10:00 at the Euskal Itsas Museoa and will cost \u20ac14.50 per person.<\/p>\r\n In addition to this, the museum will continue to offer the clue game La Jarana for young people and families, an original way of discovering the best kept secrets of the port of San Sebastian<\/strong>. The game starts at the museum and takes place in and around the port. Those interested can collect one map per family from the museum reception and play the activity at their leisure. The game of clues will cost \u20ac3 per family, and is available in Basque, Spanish, English and French during the museum’s usual opening hours.<\/p>\r\n Guided tours can be booked through the Museum’s website<\/a> or by calling 943 430 051. Free visits can be made without prior reservation<\/strong> during the following summer opening hours: Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00-14:00 \/ 16:00-19:00.
