A <strong>new tourism model<\/strong>, based on <strong>sustainability<\/strong> and <strong>participation<\/strong>, which will help us to achieve a friendlier tourism for everyone.<\/p>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Parte-Vieja-Consti---Foto-Javier-Larrea-SS-Turismo\" src=\"https:\/\/basquemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Parte-Vieja-Consti-Foto-Javier-Larrea-SS-Turismo.jpg\" alt=\"Old Town (Parte Vieja), Donostia San Sebasti\u00e1n\" width=\"970\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>In recent years we have experienced profound changes at a global level that have consequences for the <strong>tourism sector in Donostia \/ San Sebasti\u00e1n<\/strong>. We face several challenges: recovering from the coronavirus crisis, aligning our activity with sustainable development, managing the climate emergency and maintaining the <strong>city&#8217;s prosperity<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n<p>Tourist activity can affect many areas of the destination, which is why it is necessary to address it from a<strong> cross-cutting approach<\/strong>, taking into account areas of management such as sustainability, the preservation of <strong>culture and the socio-economic development<\/strong> of the local community.<\/p>\r\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"ED-T\u00fanel\" src=\"https:\/\/basquemagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/ED-Tunel.jpg\" alt=\"Aquarium Donostia\" width=\"970\" height=\"572\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>This new <strong>Visit Bizi<\/strong> plan is a continuation of the previous tourism plan, but with a greater <strong>focus on the management of the city as a tourist destination<\/strong>; a plan that stops looking at visitor growth figures, and focuses on promoting measures to find a balance and <strong>well-being<\/strong> <strong>between citizens<\/strong>, visitors and the sector.<\/p>\r\n<p><strong><a
