The 90s in San Telmo Museoa, with energy and creativity

Más sobre:
'The New 90s', on show until 4 June at the San Telmo Museum, is an exhibition essay by Nekane Aramburu, which brings the visitor closer to the different artistic collectives that worked in the late 80s, the 90s and the beginning of the new millennium.

In those years, artists pooled their energies and worked mainly in collectives and alternative spaces, based on social, political, intellectual, feminist and ecological commitments. It was a germinal decade in which collective movements and group initiatives enabled the establishment of a new cultural order. This exhibition is a first approach to that ecosystem.

Until 28 May, on the other hand, the exhibition 'Amable Arias backstage' can also be visited, which presents the drawings and watercolours that this artist produced in the 1950s, in which he develops his exceptional capacity for observation in an unusual environment, that of the travelling theatre of the 1950s.
