Photography as a transformative experience
‘Lúa Ribeira. Subida al cielo’ is a project made up of five series developed by the photographer Lúa Ribeira between 2016 and 2020: ‘Subida al cielo’, ‘Aristócratas’, ‘Las visiones’, ‘La Jungla’ and ‘Los afortunados’. Until 2 July at Kutxa Kultur Artegunea.
The true ‘Balenciaga character’
The Cristóbal Balenciaga Museum in Getaria explores a new perspective of the Basque couturier’s work, never before explored, and focusing on what makes “a Balenciaga” recognisable. It shows everything from the comic silhouettes of the 1930s to the abstract shapes of the 1960s, as well as the most iconic lines of the 1950s.
The 90s in San Telmo Museoa, with energy and creativity
‘The New 90s’, on show until 4 June at the San Telmo Museum, is an exhibition essay by Nekane Aramburu, which brings the visitor closer to the different artistic collectives that worked in the late 80s, the 90s and the beginning of the new millennium.
The Forest of Oma will open to the public in October
