The Theatre and Street Arts program will begin in both spaces on Sunday, August 18, with an important presence of Basque and Basque-language theater companies. Thus, the Txikigune of Doña Casilda Park will open the cycle with the circus show "Augustu Rubustu pirata" of the Navarre company Zirika Zirkus, on Sunday 18 at 19:30 hours. In this play in Basque, through the treasure hunt, the aim is to create a more decent society for pirates and society, based on equality and diversity without prejudice; theater, circus and humor will not go unnoticed. The theatrical offer with Basque representation will continue the next day, Monday, August 19, at 9:15 p.m., at the Plaza de la Convivencia, with the performance of Zirkozaurre and their play "Harreman", which combines circus with traditional Basque music, two apparently different worlds, but with many things in common. On Tuesday 20, at 12:30 p.m., also in the Plaza de la Convivencia, the Berdinki company will present its contemporary circus "Mikra", a piece in Basque that uses acrobatic disciplines as language and addresses issues such as gender and role stereotypes, with touches of issues that we all live. On the same day, but on the Txikigune Pergola stage, at 7:30 p.m., the Tiritirantes company will offer a story of circus, magic and humor with their play in Basque "Bazen behin...". Local companies will continue to be present at the Txikigune for the rest of the week.
