The 32nd edition of the festival Le Temps d'Aimer is coming up, with a very eclectic programme. It hosts 31 companies with a strong presence throughout the city of Biarritz (gigabar along the ocean, open stages, pelota...), but also with travelling shows throughout the Basque Country.
1 - Creation, with the Ballet Preljocaj and the Ballet de l'Opéra National de Bordeaux who, at the opening of the festival, unite around the new production by Angelin Preljocaj on a score by Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk).
2 - The international dimension, with the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève presenting two pieces by its new director Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui; Discovery, with Ballett X from Germany, which will allow you to discover the young and talented choreographer Xenia Wiest for the first time in France.
3 - The presence throughout the Basque Country, with the CCN - Ballet de Lorraine, which will bring together the public in different towns of the agglomeration with a programme based on two emblematic choreographers of their time (Trisha Brown and Maud le Pladec).
4 - An unusual presence in the city of Biarritz, with the CCN Malandain Ballet Biarritz offering the public a unique free evening based on extracts from Thierry Malandain's repertoire chosen by the dancers.
