At the crossroads of the Basque provinces, Arrasate-Mondragon offers spectacular mountain, urban and industrial landscapes to discover and enjoy: come and discover the territory of the Dragon!

Thanks to the economic prosperity of the 16th and 17th centuries, Arrasate developed in urban terms and important monumental buildings were constructed: the church of San Juan Bautista, the Town Hall (Baroque style), the convent of San Francisco (now a cultural centre) and the palaces of Okendo and Artazubiaga are some of the monuments that can be admired today.

Nature with friends and family

Accompanied by expert guides, we will discover a natural environment of great beauty in which it is possible to combine sporting activities with the discovery of a valuable historical, artistic, geological and ethnographic heritage. Climbing to the summit of Udalatx, Murugain along the dragon's path, the Gongeta mines...

In all the outings we will have the opportunity to get to know part of the history and the natural environment that the landscapes of Mondragón offer us. In addition, on 18 September we will have the chance to do a demanding Gravel bike route.

Mountain and hiking enthusiasts have 17 itineraries of varying length and difficulty to do on foot, by bicycle, running or Nordic walking that run through mountains and rural neighbourhoods.
