The Provincial Council of Alava invites you to discover and enjoy the cultural heritage of Antoñana, Estíbaliz, Markinez, Salvatierra and Salinas de Añana through five digital tourist gymkhanas

Cristina González explained that this initiative "seeks to promote the knowledge and enjoyment of the Territory, of all its towns and counties, beyond the best-known destinations and resources. Through these gymkhanas, we want to show small towns in Alava, and other not so small ones, which are not usually included in the tourist itineraries of those who visit us".

The tourist gymkhanas are cultural routes using mobile devices to play 'in situ' at the destination while exploring and getting to know the historical and cultural heritage of different localities: "The last train of Antoñana", "Save Agurain", "The spell of Estíbaliz", "The theft of the jewels" with the village of Markinez as the setting and "In search of the magic pot" with Salinas de Añana as the protagonist are the titles of these gymkhanas.

The five gymkhanas presented will be followed next year by other new ones to raise awareness of other villages in Álava.
