Leintz-Gatzaga celebrates the salt day

Más sobre:
This coming Sunday, 23 October, a new edition of the Gatz Eguna will be held in the municipality of Leintz Gatzaga, in the region of Debagoiena. This will be the sixth edition of the Gatz Eguna, a very good opportunity to discover the heritage of this village in Gipuzkoa.

The aim of this day is to highlight the heritage of the village of Gatzaga. In the past, the village's salty spring was a source of economic development for the village and the salt culture developed there. The birth of the village is also due to salt.
Gatzaga has been promoting this heritage for 30 years and 6 years ago it was decided to organise a Salt Day to promote the product, its production and this salt culture. Nowadays, Kilometre O salt is produced, with Eusko Label quality.

This will be the sixth edition of the Gatz Eguna, a very good opportunity to discover the heritage of this town in Gipuzkoa.
