From 12 to 14 August, International Trophy Plaza Berri, a real preparation for the next World Basque Pelota Championships which will take place from 23 to 29 October in Biarritz, Bayonne, Bidart and Hasparren. The best leather pelotaris from the French, Spanish, Cuban and Mexican national teams will be taking part.
Plaza Berri, the fronton of Biarritz
Plaza Berri, the emblematic fronton of Pelota Vasca in Biarritz and in France, was built in 1931 and throughout the summer season gives an authentic image of Pelota Vasca.
Plaza Berri is a "Cultural and Sporting Monument", but also an architectural monument with its beautiful oak stands, which enriches the heritage of Biarritz with an establishment with a very rich historical past but with a promising future for Basque Pelota.
From 12 to 14 August, the International Trophy Plaza Berri, a real preparation for the next World Basque Pelota Championships which will take place from 23 to 29 October in Biarritz, Bayonne, Bidart and Hasparren.
The best leather pelotaris from the French, Spanish, Cuban and Mexican national teams will be taking part.
No less than 6 matches will be offered to the public for a ticket price of 5€.
