Bilbao Bizkaia intensifies its tourist promotion this autumn

Under the Bilbao Bizkaia brand, the Bilbao City Council and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia are facing a busy schedule of international events over the next few weeks in which they will be presenting their offer as a tourist destination to the European and national markets.

After recently revealing that the City and the Territory have experienced a record summer in 2022, with an increase in the number of visitors compared to the years prior to the pandemic, autumn is a favourable time to work intensively. Thus, between now and the beginning of December, various events will be held in different countries where Bilbao Bizkaia will make contact with specialised agents and the general public to position itself as a preferential destination.
London will be the first stop on this autumn tour and, what is more, it will be a double stop. The Global European Marketplace, the most important meeting organised by ETOA (European Tourism Association), a network of which Bilbao Bizkaia is a member, will be held in the British capital this Thursday and Friday.

Northern Europe is a market with enormous potential and a visitor profile that fits in perfectly with Bilbao Bizkaia's tourist offer.
And at the beginning of next month, Bilbao Bizkaia will meet its usual date at the ILTM in Cannes, the fair par excellence of the luxury travel industry. This is a market segment of great interest for the City and the Territory, which will once again be in the French Blue Coast between 5 and 8 December to showcase a wide range of attractions that can attract clients with high purchasing power, starting with haute cuisine.
State market in Valladolid
The Spanish market will also be on Bilbao Bizkaia's calendar of events this autumn. It will have a stand at Intur, the International Inland Tourism Fair, which will be held from 17 to 20 November in Valladolid.
