Bilboarte celebrates this week its open door days

Until Friday 30, BilbaoArte is hosting a major exhibition of the proposals presented by the artists. Of different ages and origins, both from the Basque Country and Spain, as well as internationally -Austria, Israel, Perú-, the artists that make up this group show form an image of contemporary art today.

Among other projects, during the visit they were able to enjoy Alexia Sayago's project, hosted in the scholarship programme thanks to the collaboration agreement with the UPV/EHU, or Saray Pérez Castilla's project, developed at the Fondazione Bevilacqua la Masa (Venice) thanks to the collaboration with the Otaola Ubieta Scholarship. A total of 20 proposals from artists.

Through these works, a representative sample of the latest trends, modes and work processes in contemporary art can be seen.

The Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto; the Councillor for Culture and Governance, Gonzalo Olabarria; the Councillor for Festivals and Deputy for Culture, Itziar Urtasun; representatives of the Board of Directors and City Council members, and the Director of the BilbaoArte Fundazioa Foundation, Javier Riaño, have visited the 2023 Open Doors exhibition, which brings together the works developed throughout this first half of the year.
