Bilbao celebrates the halfway point of Aste Nagusia

Three years later, the Town Hall has once again become the epicentre of the festivities with an institutional reception that has brought together more than 200 people and has paid tribute to Pedro Prieto, from the Moskotarrak konpartsa, one of the main promoters of the Aste Nagusia Gastronomic Competition.
The Arab Hall of the Bilbao City Hall has shone like never before in its reunion with Aste Nagusia, after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19. The Mayor Juan Mari Aburto, accompanied by the Municipal Corporation, the Txupinera Itziar Lazkano and the town crier Iratxe Palacios, has once again presided over the institutional reception that the City Council offers every year to thank and recognise the work of all the people, companies, entities and associations that work to ensure that everything goes well in Aste Nagusia.
In this way, the Consistory has once again become the epicentre of the festivities of the town, with an emotional and multitudinous event that has brought together more than 200 people, including institutional representatives, konpartsas, commerce, catering, theatre and entertainment companies in general, cultural and business entities, several Illustrious and Ambassadors of Bilbao, as well as workers of the City Council itself and a long etc.

As every year, the reception that Mayor Aburto dedicates to Bilbao society at the halfway point of Aste Nagusia, has once again become a simple and emotional act of homage to one of the people most closely linked to the festive spirit of Bilbao: Pedro Prieto, of the konpartsa Moskotarrak, one of the main promoters of the Aste Nagusia Gastronomic Competition.
