The chef and businesswoman Cristina Oria has chosen Donostia-San Sebastián to open her first establishment outside Madrid. And she has done so in the heart of the city centre, on Avenida de La Libertad, in a large three-storey space that combines a shop and a restaurant.
The Mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto; the Councillor for Culture, Bingen Zupiria; and the Deputy for Culture, Lorea Bilbao, introduced the diaries. The President of the BBK Foundation, Xabier Sagredo, was responsible for inserting the coins and two members of the Association of Friends of the Museum introduced the metal capsule into the green space.
With “This Christmas I ASK FOR BILBAO: Order the Christmas you want in Bilbao”, the City Council is launching a campaign to encourage consumption during these special dates with the aim of supporting commerce, the hotel and catering industry, culture and leisure.
Donostia San Sebastian Tourism has launched a digital tool that offers the possibility of buying tourist cards and all its guided tours, activities, products, experiences and getaways online. By digitising the purchase, visitors can plan and buy the activities they are interested in from home, before arriving in the city.
