The
Forest of Oma
is preparing for Easter with a special surprise: a limited edition of logbooks. These booklets, available in Basque and Spanish, offer a unique way to explore this magical place. From March 23rd.

On the eve of Easter, the
Provincial Council of Bizkaia
is pleased to announce the launch of a special edition of Oma Forest logbooks. These booklets, available in Basque and Spanish, will be a creative guide offering detailed information about this renowned forest. With a release of 5,000 copies, they will be available from March 23 until all stocks are sold out.

In order to have one of these special notebooks, visitors must book their visit to the Oma Forest. Once reserved, you will be able to obtain your copy at the Santimamiñe-Oma Cave service point.

On the other hand, in order to facilitate access to the Oma Forest during Easter Week, a free shuttle bus service will be offered from Gernika to the Santimamiñe parking lot. This service will be available from March 28 through April 1. Please note that in order to make use of this service, it will be mandatory to show the reservation of the visit to the Oma Forest.

Advance reservations and guided tours

To ensure an enjoyable visiting experience, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia recommends that you make advance reservations via
bizkaia.eus/en/bosque-oma
. Please note that it will be essential to validate the reservation one hour before the tour at the Santimamiñe-Oma Cave. Free visits will be free of charge and guided tours will have a small fee.

Rates and conditions

The rates for guided tours are as follows: 10€ for the general price and 5€ for the reduced price. Those who opt for the reduced or free rate must present the corresponding documentation at the service center.
