The Palacio Arriluce Hotel will open its doors in October, after a complete refurbishment carried out by the hotel consultancy firm Hotelab. This accommodation is presented as one of the great luxury 5* star hotels in the Basque Country.
Hotelab has been the company in charge of the integral management of the new Palacio Arriluce, from the establishment and definition of the business model and its different sub-areas, to the selection of the architecture, design and interior design team. It has also accompanied the owners throughout the entire construction process and will be part of the hotel's operation, among other functions.
Luisa Rodríguez Santamaría, founder and director of Hotelab, and Aurora Martínez Fernández, strategic consultant and marketing director, and the entire team of consultants at Hotelab, have been the architects of this exciting project on which they embarked four years ago.
Built in 1912
Built in 1912 by the Bilbao architect José Luis Oriol, on the cliff of the Bay of Abra, we find the former Arriluce Palace, a building of great heritage value that offers an incomparable panoramic view of the Bay of Biscay. After the recent renovation, the essence of its prestigious heritage and aristocratic refinement has been maintained to provide an exceptional service to its guests.
Every corner of the hotel offers a distinctive and modern design, the architecture and interior design together with the furnishings and lighting will bring a contemporary and elegant ambience to the present. The elevated style continues with the state-of-the-art spa and the innovative Delaunay dining experience by Beñat Ormaetxea.
