The edible vegetable landscape often goes unnoticed before our eyes. On Saturday 14th May, the Zumalakarregi Museum, in collaboration with Mutiloa Town Council, Ormaiztegi Town Council and Goitur (tourist development agency of the Goierri region), is organising the 13th edition of the Mutiloa - Ormaiztegi Greenway Day with the activity "From the greenway to the table".

The biologist and ethnobotanist Clara Gutierrez will guide participants to learn how to identify edible plants in a simple way. The event will start at 9:30 a.m. from Liernia and will follow part of the route taken by the old railway that transported the iron ore extracted from the mines of Zerain and Mutiloa. From the Barnaola farmhouse, the old storage area, you will descend along the path next to the Troi river to Mutiloa. This is an activity in which, as well as collecting plants and flowers, participants will be able to taste the delicious variety that nature has to offer. Once in Mutiloa, Clara Gutierrez will give a gastronomic workshop where she will teach tricks to turn the plants and flowers collected into authentic delicacies and culinary delights.
