Almost 30,000 athletes have enjoyed the 20 kilometres between Behobia and Donostia, full of people cheering on the participants. Nan Oliveras, from Olot, and Cristina Silva, from Barcelona, were the winners.

Cristina Silva, the winner, said at the finish line that her victory "is a dream, the people are incredible how much they cheer you on, it gives you a great rush. You suffer a bit, but I managed to go fast and from then on I was very comfortable. I didn't expect to win". The Catalan recognised that the best moment was the straight after the Alto de Miracruz and dedicated the victory to her "family and my club because they always accompany me. We'll celebrate in a cider house".
Nan Oliveras, the winner in the men's category, said after crossing the finish line that "I really wanted to come here and winning is spectacular. I tried to impose my pace and that's how it was. It is one of the best races I have ever run. I dedicate the victory to my father who left us two years ago".
