ICOFF-GASTEIZ, the International Short Film Festival

The first edition of the International Short Film Festival of Vitoria-Gasteiz, ICOFF-GASTEIZ, presents 53 fiction, animation and documentary films. From 4 to 9 April at Vital Fundazioa Kulturunea.
ICOFF-GASTEIZ is the new international short film festival led by Kepa Sojo and Sonia Pacios with the main support of Fundación Vital and the collaboration of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council. Its first edition will be held in the capital of the Basque Country between the 4th and 9th of April at Vital Fundazioa Kulturunea (La Paz 5, 1st floor of Dendaraba, Vitoria-Gasteiz). Tickets and passes to attend the different sessions are on sale at www.fundacionvital.eus and at Casa del Cordón (Cuchillería 24).
The complete programme of the festival was revealed this morning by Kepa Sojo, artistic director of the project together with Sonia Pacios, and the director of Fundación Vital Fundazioa, Arantxa Ibañez de Opacua.
The selection committee has chosen 53 short films out of the 874 received to participate in the two competitive sections of the competition. Thus, OFIZIALA will have 30 works and EUSKO-ARABA will have 14.

Among the actresses and actors of the short films selected in OFIZIALA are well-known faces of Spanish cinema such as Luis Tosar, Belén Rueda, Karra Elejalde, Luis Callejo, Daniel Guzmán, Carlos Santos, José Mota, Iraia Elías, Itziar Aizpuru, Julián Villagrán, Alexandra Jiménez, Fele Martínez, Andrés Gertrudix, Chani Martín, Paula Usero, Olivia Baglivi, Abdelatif Hwidar, Farah Hamed, Gurutze Beitia, Lander Otaola, Andoni Agirregomezkorta, among others.

Those who wish to purchase a season ticket for all the days of ICOFF-GASTEIZ, at a price of 10 euros or tickets at 2 euros, can do so on the website www.fundacionvital.eus, at the Casa del Cordón from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 2 pm and from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm and on Friday from 8:30 am to 2 pm. Likewise, tickets for each day's screenings can also be obtained at the box office from one hour before the screening, if available.
