For the second year running, the site of the Plaza de Corazón de María will once again host the now classic and traditional exhibition "Giants of Bilbao". Until 10 September. A highly recommended visit for the whole family.
People who wish to get to know these well-known characters so characteristic of Basque culture and belonging to the 1980 and 1988 Generations can visit the aforementioned space until 10 September. The "Giants of Bilbao" exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00, with the exception of Tuesday 25th July, which will be closed as it is a public holiday.
Every year, the exhibition of these historic and illustrious characters brings together and shares a very important part of Basque folklore. They have been accompanying the town for over forty years. In fact, over the years, the exhibition has become one of the most popular activities in the Biscayan capital during the summer. This year, the "Giants of Bilbao" exhibition is completed by 10 giants from the 1980 generation and 6 from the 1988 generation. From the 1980 generation, Don Terencio, Zumalacárregui and four other pairs can be enjoyed. And from the 1988 generation there will be Ferrón and Cigarrera, Marino and Carguera, and Inglés and Bilbainita.
