The San Telmo Museum celebrates fashion

Más sobre:
San Sebastian Moda Festival is the biggest platform for the promotion and territorial dissemination of the fashion sector in the Basque Country: talks, conferences, workshops, 'face to face' and fashion shows. The Cristina Enea Park, the Balenciaga Museum, the majestic San Telmo Museum and Garbera have been the locations selected this year to host the fashion shows.
During 4 intense days, the festival has promoted brands 'made in Basque Country' and 'made in Spain', as well as kilometre 0.

On Saturday, the San Telmo Museum hosted fashion shows, each one more surprising than the last: Stillalive, Sastrería Aldabaldetreku, Roberto Diz, ES Fascinante and Kutxa Kultur Moda. The latter promoted the talent of 8 emerging fashion designers from Gipuzkoa.
The San Sebastian Moda Festival is already a benchmark in the sector. "It is clear that through them we have managed to make this San Sebastian Fashion Festival the window of fashion in the Basque Country, a benchmark, and become part of the national fashion circuit, complementing Madrid and Barcelona, so I couldn't be happier," says Laura Chamorro, the festival's director.
The Fashion Awards
The museum was also the setting for the birth of the Fashion Awards, which recognise and highlight the talent of Basque firms in the sector. The winners were Arizona Vintage for its commitment to sustainability, Loreak Mendian for its 25-year trajectory and Alava Brand for its entrepreneurial side.
