The new Tres Soles distinguish the commitment of 'Iván Cerdeño', in Toledo, and the Padrón brothers of 'El Rincón de Juan Carlos', in Tenerife, for incorporating socio-cultural influences into their kitchens.

During his speech, the Minister explained that, as well as being a sign of identity, gastronomy in the Basque Country is an industry. "The Basque Country of the last two centuries has been characterised by the weight of its industry, which has marked the evolution of its people until transforming it into the plural and heterogeneous society that it is today. And in this process, gastronomy has always been present and has been gaining relevance, especially with the rise of tourism. The intrinsic relationship between tourism and gastronomy in the Basque Country is shown by the fact that it has become the main motivation for tourists to visit us".
