Last Saturday, Spanish cinema once again experienced its most memorable night of the year, with the celebration of the 36th edition of the Goya Awards at Les Arts in Valencia. The DOCa Rioja was very present during the celebration, where its wines were served. In addition, Rioja gave commemorative bottles to all the nominees in the different categories and its logo became the backdrop for the different stars who paraded down the red carpet, an event that was broadcast live by journalist Beatriz Solano through Rioja's social networks and which featured exclusive interviews with almost all the celebrities invited to the gala.
The 36th edition of the Goya Awards, which awarded its main prizes to Fernando León, Blanca Portillo and Javier Bardem, counted with the participation of Rioja, which, faithful to its historic purpose of turning any moment into something memorable, contributed the character and elegance of its wines during this moment of celebration. This was the final touch to a collaboration that has been full of moments of celebration in which Rioja has also been present, such as the awarding of the Goya of Honour.
Rioja wines had an outstanding presence during the evening, reinforcing their position as an essential accompaniment to any memorable moment.
The president of the DOCa Rioja Control Board, Fernando Ezquero, who attended the gala on behalf of the brand, said on entering the event that "If there is something that Rioja always achieves is that any moment becomes a special moment; when someone opens a bottle of Rioja, it is because they want that occasion, however simple it may be, to be memorable. If it is also the celebration of a national benchmark such as the Goya Awards, Rioja simply cannot be missed".
This sponsorship has meant the alliance of two of the main references of the "Spain" brand, the DOCa Rioja, internationally renowned for the quality of its wines, and the country's cinema, which experiences its most important night during the celebration of this gala. Through this event, Rioja aims to strengthen its brand purpose as a catalyst for all kinds of special moments and reinforce its position as a pioneering entity and unquestionable benchmark for Spanish wine.
