“B de Bilbao”, the image of Carnival 2023

Bilbao Carnival 2023 already has the image that will represent the spirit of this popular festival in the Biscayan capital. On this occasion, "B DE BILBAO", by Óscar Méndez San Frutos, will be the poster announcing the Carnival, the most carefree festival of the year in the city, which will be held from 17 to 21 February.
Once again and without restrictions, Bilbao will be immersed in five days of celebration, fun and activities for everyone. And it will do so under the design "B DE BILBAO", the winning image of the competition created by Óscar Mendez San Frutos, who has won out among the six finalists thanks to the votes cast by the public, which have had a weight of 66% in the final decision (the value of the in-person vote is 33% and online another 33%) and the criteria of the Jury, which has accounted for the remaining 33%.
The slogans of the other five finalists also reflect the themes that inspired their creators: "Danza de Disfraces coloridas", "Don Diego Carnaval", "Ikonoa", "Sardinitas por aquí, Sardinitas por allá" and "Carnacalles".
