Among the 25 world destinations with the greatest tourist attraction for this 2021, the famous tourism magazine -one of the most important in the world- National Geographic, has chosen Vitoria-Gasteiz in the section "Discover sites of culture and history".

In its pages, under the title "Jazz nd legends in a Basque cultural capital" the magazine higlights the historical, cultural and environmental aspects fo the capital of Álava.

Along with Tulsa (Oklahoma), Pueblo Nations (New Mexico), Magellan (Pacific in Guam), Gyeongju (Republic of Korea) and Tonglu (China), in the Basque capital they recommend "delighting in a cultural crossroads and enjoying a festival of art in a legendary landscape".
