The heart of Bilbao
Discovering Bilbao with your dog is a luxury through one of its most emblematic walks. Following in the wake of the Nervion Estuary, you will find large open spaces and avenues full of the smell of fresh grass that will take you to the very heart of the Casco Viejo, where modernity and tradition merge with pintxos, vermouth and long conversations on the banks of the estuary.
Even if you go to Bilbao with your dog, don't miss a visit to the Guggenheim. There are many dog day-care centers that can take care of your pet for a few hours, and don't forget to take a picture with Puppy, the biggest dog in the country!
We recommend walking this route, but if you are in a hurry or if you get caught in the rain, you should know that the whole walk is dotted with stops of the Bilbao Tramway, urban transport in which dogs are welcome.
Paseo marítimo por San Sebastián
Es posible conocer la ciudad con su perro recorriendo su paseo marítimo de más de 4 km, que comienza en la playa de La Zurriola y termina en una de las esculturas más conocidas e impactantes de Euskadi: el Peine del Viento, del artista Eduardo Chillida.
Durante todo el recorrido encontrará iconos emblemáticos de San Sebastián, como el majestuoso puente del Kursaal, el Teatro Victoria Eugenia, los jardines de Alderdi Eder o la bahía de La Concha. Y si desea bajar a alguna de las playas mientras realiza esta ruta, sepa que a partir del 1 de octubre está permitido el acceso a todos los perros (siempre con correa).
Vitoria-Gasteiz
Si su perro pudiera decidir en qué ciudad vivir, seguro que la verde Vitoria-Gasteiz estaría entre sus favoritas, el conocido como “Anillo Verde” que rodea la ciudad es una apuesta urbanística internacionalmente reconocida por combinar parques, bosques, humedales de gran valor ecológico y paisajístico con espacios para el disfrute de sus habitantes.
Sin embargo, para el que desea disfrutar de la ciudad y admirar su arquitectura, le proponemos un paseo cómodo que comienza en las calles del Ensanche para acabar adentrándose en el casco histórico. Todo esto, salpicado de parques y jardines, que no podían faltar en una de las ciudades más verdes del continente europeo.
