Events, cinema and coastal tourism for 2023 in Bilbao Bizkaia
Juan Mari Aburto, Mayor of Bilbao; Ainara Basurko, Provincial Councillor for Economic Promotion; Cristina Múgica, Director of Territorial Competitiveness and Tourism and Xabier Ochandiano, Councillor for Economic Development, Trade and Employment, are attending FITUR with their technical teams to reinforce the Bilbao Bizkaia brand and present the new tourism products and their main attractions in situ.

FITUR is the place chosen to present this catalogue, which aims to promote the 150 kilometres of coastline that Bilbao Bizkaia has, such as the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, the Santa Katalina lighthouse in Lekeitio and the Bizkaia Flysch Route.

Among the main attractions of this year 2023, of which there are many, the Grand Départ of the Tour de France, one of the sporting events with the greatest projection and media impact at international level, stands out. The 110th edition of the great event for cycling lovers will start from Bilbao on 1 July and will travel through different parts of the territory.

The latest great novelty aims to help film buffs discover in Bilbao Bizkaia a varied offer of enclaves that have served as settings for successful films and series.
