The international ‘Culinary Action! On the Road’ will end at the BCC
The series of global events in "roadshow" format aimed at foodtech startups and startups in the field of 360º Gastronomy is back, with the aim of discovering the most innovative startups. The final of this international tour will take place at the Basque Culinary Center in San Sebastian in March 2023.
The Basque Culinary Center has opened the registration for the second edition of 'Culinary Action! On the Road'. It will start in September 2022 and will be held through competitions in New York (USA), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Copenhagen (Denmark), Tokyo (Japan) and Tel-Aviv (Israel), in collaboration with local partners.
This is the second edition of this international travelling competition launched by Culinary Action!, the Basque Culinary Center and Hazi Fundazioa's gastronomic entrepreneurship programme, with which the Basque Country seeks to attract innovation projects, entrepreneurial talent and start-ups in the technological aspects of the agri-food sector.
The five local finalists will compete in a grand final to be held in 2023 in Donostia-San Sebastián, which will pit the winning startups from each country against each other, in which the winning startup of the second edition of "CA! On The Road", which will be awarded a one-year residency at LABe- Digital Gastronomy Lab, and an additional 25-hour voucher for research and innovation projects at the technology centre, BCC Innovation.
