Ernesto Valverde’s photographs
The Athletic Club Foundation has inaugurated in Bilbao the exhibition of photographs by Ernesto Valverde entitled "Beste aldea" ("The other side"). It is a collection of 24 photographs in which the author photographs fans of the clubs he has coached from an internal perspective, for example, from the bus in which the team approaches a stadium. In addition to the red-white fans, the black and white images on display include portraits of fans of clubs such as Olympiakos FC and FC Barcelona.
The exhibition can be seen free of charge until 28 October in the exhibition hall of the Ensanche Market (Plaza del Ensanche 11, Bilbao) during the following opening hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
This photographic exhibition is part of the Athletic Club Foundation's cultural programme, which seeks to vindicate the idea that another football is real and aims to build bridges between the worlds of culture, education and football.
