"Descalabrau" is the winning pintxo created by the team from Navarra in the Miniature Iron Chef team pintxo competition, which was held at the Vitoria-Gasteiz pintxo congress, at the Palacio Europa in the capital of Alava. The team was made up of Juan Flamarique (Le Petit Comité-Pamplona), Sergio Lerga and Lorenzo Arejula (La Vieja Iruña-Pamplona) and Goiza Isiegas (Akari-Pamplona).

Miniature Iron Chef is a competition in which teams compete on the basis of the delivery of surprise products for the preparation of two newly created pintxos, which form part of a menu of pintxos offered in four restaurants in Vitoria-Gasteiz. The diners at these dinners are the ones who choose the pintxo with which each team must compete in the final, held at the Europa Conference Centre in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

The winning pintxo was "Descalabrau", which imitates a wooden trunk with the fallen autumn leaves and the frost of the mountain. It is a base filled with a chuck stew, cream cheese and grilled pepper gel, with a silver sheen simulating the frost and slices of pepper.
